<br />CITY OF NORTH OLM5TED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2000-51 <br />BY: MAYOR NORMAN MUSIAL <br />AN ORDINANCE CREATING NEW AND REVISED SECTIONS 113(04 AND 1136. OS <br />OF CHAPTER 1136 OF THE ZONING CODE, ENTITLED RESPECTIVELY, <br />"PERMITTED BUILDINGS AND USES," AND "AREA AND DENSITY <br />REQUIREMENTS," SO AS TO PERMIT GOLF COURSES, AND BUILDINGS <br />ASSOCIATED WITH AND/OR RELATED TO THE OPERATION OF GOLF <br />COURSES, AS ACCESSORY USES IN SINGLE FAMILY CLiISTER (SFC) <br />DISTRICTS OF THE CITYAS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 1136 of the Zoning Code provides for the regulation of uses in Single <br />Family Cluster (SFC) Districts of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1136.04 of the Zoning Code provides for the main and accessory uses <br />permitted in Single Family Cluster (SFC) Districts, and Section 1136.05 provides for area and density <br />requirements, and further limits accessory uses in the District; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to amend Section 1136.04 and 1136.05 in order to clarify <br />that golf courses are a permitted accessory use in Single Family Cluster (SFC) Districts, and <br />further to permit, also as an accessory use in said District, club houses, administrative off'ices, and <br />museums or halls of fame, which are associated with or related to the operation of golf courses; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on the day of 2000, by <br />formal motion, recommended that this Ordinance, amending Sections 1 3.04 and 1136.05 of the <br />Zoning Code be (approved)(disappewcl); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 1136.04 of the Zoning Code, entitled "Permitted Buildings and <br />Uses," which presents reads as follows: <br />"1136.04 PERMITTED BUII.DINGS AND USES. <br />Buildings and land shall be used and buildings shall be erected, altered, moved and <br />maintained in a SFC District only in accordance with the following: <br />(a) Main buildings and uses: <br />(1) One-family dwellings; and <br />(2) Common open space and recreation areas. <br />(b) Accessory buildings and uses: <br />(1) A private garage attached to or located in a one-family dwelling; open <br />parking areas; and <br />(2) Gardens, fences, walls, pools and other recreation facilities on private and <br />common land.
