Qualified as a value engineering team leader and coordinator, Mr. McMasters has <br />participated in 13 VE workshops and served as a team leader for five of the workshops, which have <br />included advanced wastewater treatment, conveyance and detention projects, and a shoreline protection <br />project. <br />EXPERIENCE: <br />Wastewater Treatment <br />• Managed design and construction services to provide additional liquid sludge storage, new sludge <br />aeration blowers, and improved dechlorination and tertiary filtration for Mokena, Illinois. <br />Increased plant capacity to 1.65 mgd and evaluated the feasibility of increasing treatment capacity <br />to 6.5 mgd at the present site, in place of separate treatment plants. <br />• Conducted an odor mitigation study of centrifuge dewatered sludge from an 80-mgd wastewater <br />treatment facility in Yonkers, New York. Oversaw odor characterization, bench-scale <br />• Provided process and report reviews for copper removal studies at a wastewater treatment plant in <br />Leominster, Massachusetts.
