Project Personnel 5-9 <br />• Managed a littoral drift study and report to document potential impacts of proposed boat launch <br />facility breakwalls on 5,500 feet of adjacent shoreline and lake bottom and to evaluate the potential <br />of developing a bathing beach on Lake Ontario in New York State. <br />• Served as project manager for coastal and civil engineering subconsulting services for a one-year <br />indefinite-delivery contract with the U.S. Coast Guard that included repairs to the Toledo Harbor <br />lighthouse and geotechnical investigations and an environmental assessment for the Chesapeake <br />Bay range lights. <br />? Managed as-requested services associated with operation and miscellaneous improvements of the <br />North Coast Harbor in Cleveland, Ohio. Subsequently managed the $8.4 million Phase I <br />improvements including preliminary design, plans and specifications, construction engineering, and <br />resident engineering for the 7.6 acre harbor. <br />• Managed the department for a revetment to provide erosion protection for 580 feet of shoreline for <br />a proposed development on Lake Erie in Bratenahl, Ohio. <br />• Oversaw a sanitary sewer study for the East SSth Street Marina and nearby yacht clubs in <br />Cleveland, Ohio, to modify an existing 0.8-mgd pumping station and repair 800 feet of 8-inch force <br />main. Subsequently managed the marina expansion, providing architectural and engineering <br />services for a 4,900-square-foot concession building, floating fuel pier, a 64-dock floating pier and <br />related parking, lighting utilities, and security improvements. <br />• Served as project manager for the protection and bluff stabilization of 1,000 feet of shoreline at <br />Perkins Beach and the repair of the Edgewater Breakwater, including preliminary plans, plans and <br />specifications, construction engineering, and resident engineering. <br />? <br />• Managed construction engineering and resident engineering services for repairs to a 140-foot-long <br />by 21-foot-wide steel sheet pile dock on South Bass Island. <br />• Managed the field inspection and engineering report for replacement of 5,200 feet of steel sheet pile <br />bulkheads around the island at the mouth of the Rocky River. <br />• Oversaw the provision of shoreline, erosion control, and bluff stabilization using 5,000 feet of <br />revetment for private docking and launching facilities near Vermillion, Ohio. <br />• Managed a preliminary study to construct a 500-foot tunnel connection under East 9th Street and an <br />underground truck loading dock area to handle deliveries to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and <br />Museum at North Coast Harbor in Cleveland, Ohio. <br />• Served as project manager and senior coastal engineer for a marina breakwall study for a 200-boat <br />marina at the old Nicholson Terminal site inside Cleveland Harbor. Assessed using two 750-foot <br />lake freighters as the breakwalls. <br />• Contributed to an environmental assessment of proposed channel dredging and marinas along the <br />Burns Ditch and Little Calumet River for the Portage Port Authority. <br />
