We visited the building on October 27, 1999 with Todd Morgan and Tom Stein and <br />reviewed the scope of work. <br />A. SCOPE OF WORK: <br />Design of replacement of one (1) existing Carrier rooftop gas/electric packaged <br />multizone unit, serving front offices and related areas. Analyze existing <br />conditions for overheating and cooling in various areas. Modify ductwork and <br />related controls to improve comfort conditions. <br />2. Design of replacement of one (1) existing Carrier rooftop gas/electric packaged <br />single zone unit serving front lobby. At present the unit is inoperative. <br />3. Design of modifications to the existing ductwork as required by replacement of <br />the rooftop units and temperature controls. <br />B. BASIC SERVICES: <br />Collect existing design drawings and/or as-built drawings, field visit the site as <br />required to collect data and verify location of existing equipment, ductwork, power <br />supply and controls. Update the drawings with actual field conditions. <br />2. Study the existing systems serving the renovated areas. Perform design <br />calculations and air distribution in the front offices. Location of thermostats for <br />each zone to improve comfort conditions. <br />3. Prepare preliminary layout of proposed equipment and ductwork and cost <br />estimate.
