0 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2000-24 <br />BY.• COUNCILMEMBER GAREAU <br />AN ORDINANCE CREATING NEW CHAPTER 111 OF THE <br />ADMINISTRATIVE CODE OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, ENTITLED "CITY CONTRACTS, " IN ORDER <br />TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL REGULATIONS AND <br />STANDARDS REGARDING CITY CONTRACTS, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS TWICE AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the people of North Olmsted that the City <br />desires to maximize revenue when it enters into revenue generating contracts; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council believes that establishing a formal process whereby revenue <br />generating contracts are entered into only after adherence to a standardized procedure will <br />promote the goal of maximizing revenues in such contracts; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION ONE: That there be and hereby is created new Chapter 111 of the <br />Administrative Code, which, as created, shall read in its entirety as follows: <br />CHAPTER 111 <br />CITY CONTRACT5. <br />111.01 CITY CONTRACTS INVOLVING RECEIPT OF FLJNDS. <br />(A) Every city contract, whereby as a result the City is to receive instead of expend <br />funds, shall be subject to the requirement that (1) there be on file with the City specifications <br />with respect to proposals to be received from interested parties which shall include, but not be <br />limited to, the following items of information: (a) commencement date of contract; (b) term of <br />contract; (c) ending date of contract; (d) contract option terms and prerequisites; (e) <br />description of good or product to be supplied or sold pursuant to the contract; (fl desired <br />quantity of good or product to be supplied or sold pursuant to the contract; and (g) any other <br />contract term or condition that is material in nature to the contract; and (2) that a notice <br />requesting offer of such proposals from interested parties shall be advertised in a newspaper of <br />general circulation within Cuyahoga County for two successive weeks prior to a date certain <br />for submittal of such offers of proposal. <br />., <br />..ea?a?s-:'.: ... ,*rw.:,..,.. , , i .. .:.. . . . . .
