<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2000 - 13 <br />BY: COUNCILMAN MICHAEL R. GAREAU, JR. <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF <br />THE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED IN <br />ORDER TO SUPPLEMENTALLY ZONE THE <br />HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PARCELS OF REAL <br />PROPERTY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEM WITHIN THE <br />WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATION FACILITIES <br />OVERLAY DISTRICT ("WTFO") OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has conducted further review of the Zone Map of the City of <br />North Olmsted in order to locate thereupon additional parcels of real property which, by their <br />size, location and distance from residential structures, will be suitable for locating wireless <br />telecommunication facilities in the center of the City, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 1151 <br />of the Zoning Code, entitled "Wireless Telecommunication Facilities Regulations and Wireless <br />Telecommunications Facilities Overlay (WTFO) District; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to amend the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted <br />in order to supplementally zone certain properties located throughout the City for inclusion within <br />the WTFO district created by said Chapter 1151 of the Zoning Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council, upon careful review and deliberate consideration has determined <br />that the supplemental zoning of these said parcels of real property, which are identified in the <br />attached map, for inclusion within the said overlay district represents a sound planning decision <br />and is not likely to have adverse economic impact upon the owners of said properties, or upon <br />neighboring properties; <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that, although the overlay district did not exist <br />at the time that the City's Master Plan was last reviewed, the proposed supplemental zoning of <br />these parcels for inclusion within the overlay district crea.ted by Chapter 1151 of the Zoning Code <br />will not be inconsistent with the City's Master Plan for the involved areas of the City, and will <br />in fact promote the health, welfare and safety of the residents in this area of this City; and <br />
