t <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 99-140 <br />BY: MAYOR MUSIAL <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF <br />THE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED IN <br />ORDER TO SUPPLEMENTALLY ZONE THE <br />HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED FIVE PARCELS OF REAL <br />PROPERTY LOCATED EAST OF RELOCATED S.R.252 <br />AND SOUTH OF I480, SO AS TO INCLUDE TIiEM WITHIN <br />THE PUBLIC FACILITIES OVERLAY DISTRICT ("PFO") <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. <br />WHEREAS, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) desires to <br />construct and operate a"park-n-ride" facility upon five parcels of real property presently zoned <br />exclusively for single-family residential use, located east of relocated S.R. 252 and south of I-480, <br />and known as Permanent Parcel Numbers 236-012-004, 236-013-006, 236-013-007, 236-016-013, <br />and 236-016-014; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council supports GCRTA's plan to construct a"park-n-ride" facility at <br />the location proposed, but does not wish to rezone the subject parcels of real property into a <br />zoning district classification which could at some future date permit commercial business activity <br />upon said parcels; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council believes that the area of the City bounded by I-480 to the North, <br />Relocated S.R. 252 to the West, Butternut Ridge Road to the South, and Columbia Road to the <br />East, within which the subject parcels are located, should remain exclusively a residential enclave <br />and that there should be no private commercial development intrusion in this enclave; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council accordingly desires to ameiid the Zone Map of the City of North <br />Olmsted to supplementally zone the subject parcels of real property for inclusion within the City's <br />Public Facilities Overlay (PFO) district created by Chapter 1140 of the Zoning Code, a district <br />which will not permit commercial business activity on said parcels at any time in the future; and <br />nma.'. .. ny?.?R,.F. ti. ,.c. -•w ,,., .xe?L '??a.u <br />,...... . .. ..... . . . .. . .. . .. ?
