<br />Ordinance No. 99-135 page 2 <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted will select the projects which are declared eligible <br />based upon their score on the Cuyahoga County C.D.B.G. Competitive Grant Scoring <br />Sheet criteria; and <br />WHEREAS, if multiple projects are declared eligible the City will select the project which <br />are jointly agreed upon with Cuyahoga County; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted will provide all other funding and leverage <br />requirements for the projects which are selected with the following maximum estimates: <br />Funding From Leverage % <br />ciiy Citv C.D.B.G. <br />Acquisition And Demolition Of Commercial / $ 25,000 14.3 85.7 <br />Retail Property <br />Sidewalk Curbcuts For Disabled And Older Persons $ 25,000 14.3 85.7 <br />WHEREAS, the purposes of these projects are to eliminate a condition of slum and blight <br />and to provide Americans With Disabilities Act (A.D.A.) compliance and accessibility; and <br />WHEREAS, these projects will provide a benefit to older persons and persons with <br />disabilities and provide a benefit to low and moderate income persons living in a Low and <br />Moderate Income Area and an Improvement Target Area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council does hereby authorize and direct Don Copeland, <br />Director of the Department of Human Resources, to apply for <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for Fiscal Year 2000, <br />on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. Included in the application <br />shall be the aforesaid projects. <br />
