FY2000 and 2001. All projects presented must be fundable from City funds. The <br />recommendations of the Committee shall not be binding upon the Council, and Council may <br />present projects other than those recommended by the Committee. The Committee shall meet at <br />such times and places as determined by the Mayor and shall remain in existence until the earlier <br />of the following two dates: (a) December 31, 2000; or (b) the date upon which the Committee <br />makes its final presentation to Council of projects eligible for CDBG funding for the last of the <br />following fiscal years: (1) FY2000, and (2) FY2001. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that it is immediately necessary to re-authorize the Citizens Committee and its <br />operations so that the Committee has sufficient time to conduct its task and report to Council <br />concerning projects which may be eligible for FY2000 and 2001 funding; and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />? <br />ATTEST: <br />i" <br />ARA L.
