• ? ?,:.,e, <br />shall be Civil Assistant to the Law Director, one shall be Police Prosecutor and one shall be <br />Assistant Prosecutor. <br />(b) The Assistant Prosecutor's primary duties shall be the prosecution of non-police <br />cases, mainly those emanating from the Building Division, the Engineering Division and the <br />Service Department. He shall also prosecute all license violations. In the absence of the <br />Police Prosecutor, the Assistant Prosecutor shall also perform the Police Prosecutor's duties. <br />If the Police Prosecutor, for reasons of illness or otherwise, is unable to perform his duties for <br />a period in excess of three days, then the Director of Law shall appoint the Assistant <br />Prosecutor as Acting Prosecutor, and, during such periods, the Assistant Prosecutor shall be <br />paid a salary, in addition to his salary as Assistant Prosecutor, which is equal to the current <br />salary of the Police Prosecutor. In the event that the Assistant Prosecutor cannot, for whatever <br />reasons, fulfill the duties of Police Prosecutor in the Prosecutor's absence, then the Director of <br />Law shall appoint a temporary prosecutor who shall perform the duties of the Police <br />Prosecutor in the Police Prosecutor's absence. The temporary prosecutor shall be an attorney <br />licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio. While serving as temporary prosecutor, he shall <br />be paid a salary equal to the current salary of the Police Prosecutor." <br />be amended, and, as amended, shall read as follows: <br />137.01 COMPOSITION. <br />(a) The Law Department of the City, as provided in Article V, Section 2 of the <br />City Charter, shall be headed by the Director of Law. The employees of the Department shall <br />consist of four Assistant Directors of Law.
