11.3 Each Employee shail receive an annual cash unifarm allowance in the amount of $1,200.00. Such <br />allowance shall be paid in a separate check along with the Empioyee's first pa,ycheck of Januarv <br />each vear. <br />11.4 Clotlung aliowance shall be prorated per manth in the Employee's f nal year of emplo_yment. <br />ARTICLE XII <br />HOLIDAYS <br />12.1 On Jaiiuary 1" of each year> Employees shail be entitled to severi, tweiiry-four how Holidays plus <br />1(one) addiuonal 24 (twenty-four) hour Personnel day to be used at the Emptoyees discretion not <br />subject to the rules governuig holidays, vacation, kelly days or compensatory tiuie. However, <br />should an Emptoyee retire or otherwise ternunate employment for any reason other than death or <br />disability, Holidays shall be prorated for tlie year, and any Holidays taken beyond the prorated <br />allowance will be debited from amounts due said Employee which are related to wages_ <br />I2.2 5election of Holidays shall be made by the Employee and be subject to the approval of the Fire <br />Ctuef or his designee. <br />12. 3 Employees shall be permitted to select Holidays so in the sole opinion of the Fire Chief, the Fire <br />Department will be appropriately staffed to protect the City of North Olmsted. <br />12.4 Holidavs may be selected at any time prior to the desired date. However, such selection shall not <br />be approved more than three rnonths prior to the selected date. In the event more requests are <br />subcnitted for a specific day than the schectule can accommodate, an Einployee's seiuority aiid <br />selection date shall be the deciding £actor. <br />12.5 Each Employee who works a shift beginning at 0800 hours on New Year's Day, President's Day, <br />Gooct Friday, Easter. Memorial Day, Fourth of July, L,abor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgi,,zng, <br />and Christmas slWl be compensated at time and a half pay plus longevity if applicable for ali <br />hours,worked. All comp time will be paid at the Basic Hourly Rate of Pay for Line Personnel ptus <br />longevity if applicable. <br />15 <br />
