3'a year A Fire Fighter who has completed two (2) years of <br />service with the City of North 0lmsted performing <br />work of this bargaining unit. <br />4t' year A Fire Fighter who has completed three (3) years af <br />service with the City of North Olmsted performing <br />work of this bargaining wut. <br />5`h year A Fire Fighter who has completed four (4) years of <br />service with the City of North Olnnsted performing <br />work of this bargaining unit. <br />Fire Prevention Personnel: Inctividuals worldng eight hour shifts and understood <br />to be such personnel by the Employer and the <br />Association. <br />Fire Suppression Personnel: Individuals worlQng a 24-hour shift in a 72-hour <br />period who aze not Fire Prevention Personnel. <br />Grievance: A complaint, dispute or controversy arising from an <br />aiieged misappIication or misinterpretation of the <br />provisions of this Agreement. <br />Grievance Procedure: The procedure outiined in Article VII of this <br />Agreement. <br />Immediate Familv: In the case of iIIness, Immediate Family shall be <br />parent; parents of spouse; spouse and children of the <br />Empioyee as wett as other relatives tiving with the <br />Employee if the Employee is acting as parent or <br />guardian. <br />Lieutenant: An individual having the rank of Lieutenant in the <br />Fire Department. <br />?. <br />3 <br />
