<br />Ordinance 2003 - 182 <br />Page 2 <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor, having received a proper quote be and is hereby <br />authorized to enter into an agreement with Harrington Electric Company, for the <br />equipment, as quoted, being the "sole source" and supplier of same to meet the City's <br />requirements. The cost for said equipment shall not exceed Twenty Six Thousand Seven <br />Hundred and Sixty- nine Dollars ($26,769.00). Upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor be and is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a Contract for same. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and <br />for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to provide and maintain vital <br />wastewater treatment services to the residents, and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: First Reading: <br />6 Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: lo <br />Committee: <br />ATTEST.? <br />Barbara L.
