<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2003 -123 <br />BY: COUNCII,MEN NASHAR, GAREAU & McKAY <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT <br />OF THE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />IN ORDER TO SUPPLEMENTALLY ZONE PERMANENT <br />PARCEL NUMBERS 235-16-008 AND 235-16-009, 50 AS TO <br />INCLUDE THEM WITHIN THE WIRELESS <br />TELECOMMU1vICATION FACII.ITIES OVERLAY <br />DISTRICT ("WTFO") OF THE CTTY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED. <br />WHEIREAS, this Council has been requested by the City of North Olmsted Board of <br />Education to review the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted in order to consider two (2) <br />parcels of real property which, by their size, location and distance from residential structures, <br />may be deemed suitable for locating wireless telecommunication facilities upon, pursuant to the <br />provisions of Chapter 1151 of the Zoning Code, entitled "Wireless Telecommunication Facilities <br />Regulations and Wireless Telecommunications Facilities Overlay (WTFO) District; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to amend the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted in <br />order to supplementally zone the aforesaid parcels of real property, located at and limited to the <br />Boaxd of Education land utilized by the North Olmsted High School, Middle School, <br />Administration Offices, Football fields and surrounding parking areas, for inclusion within the <br />WTFO district created by said Chapter 1151 of the Zoning Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council, upon careful review and deliberate consideration has <br />determined that the supplemental zoning of the said parcels of real property, which are identified <br />in the attached map labeled Exhibit A, for inclusion within the said overlay district represents a <br />sound planning decision and is not likely to have adverse economic impact upon the owners of <br />said properties, or upon neighboring properties; <br />N'HEREAS, this Council has determined that, although the overlay district did not exist <br />at the time that the City's Master Plan was initially established, the proposed supplemental <br />zoning of these parcels for inclusion within the overlay district created by Chapter 1151 of the <br />Zoning Code will not be inconsistent with the City's Master Plan for the involved areas of the <br />City, and will in fact promote the health, welfare and safety of the residents in this area of this <br />City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on 2003, by formal <br />motion, (recommended - ') that t's rdinance, supplementally zoning the <br />said parcels of land for inclusion within the WTFO district, be approved; <br />_ a? v .
