?.- ?: ? .` Ordinance No. 2003-96 The fee for such license shall be ten dollars ($10.00) plus an additional two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) for each individual dwelling unit to be occupied." Be amended, and, as amended, shall read as follows: "713.03 LICENSE REQUIRED; FEE No person shall let, rent or lease for occupancy, either as owner, lessor, agent or attorney, an apartment unit or units within the City without first having obtained a license from the City Building Department. The license shall be renewable on January 1 of every year thereafter during the period of occupancy. The fee for such license shall be texdel?ar-s ($1-9-90) twenty-five dollars ($25.00) plus an additional t-we dellar „fty ee:ts (Q''.S°) ten dollars ($10.00) for each individual dwelling unit to be occupied." SECTION 2: That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent with this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, repealed. 5ECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is necessary that this Ordinance go into effect immediately so that the City may receive increased revenues needed to enable the City to conduct inspections which promote and protect the safety of residents who live in apartments, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. 1 PASSED: „ ?A T-TEST BARBARA L.
