?.- <br />?: ? .` <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 2003-96 <br />The fee for such license shall be ten dollars ($10.00) plus an additional two <br />dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) for each individual dwelling unit to be occupied." <br />Be amended, and, as amended, shall read as follows: <br />"713.03 LICENSE REQUIRED; FEE <br />No person shall let, rent or lease for occupancy, either as owner, lessor, agent or <br />attorney, an apartment unit or units within the City without first having obtained a license <br />from the City Building Department. The license shall be renewable on January 1 of <br />every year thereafter during the period of occupancy. <br />The fee for such license shall be texdel?ar-s ($1-9-90) twenty-five dollars ($25.00) <br />plus an additional t-we dellar „fty ee:ts (Q''.S°) ten dollars ($10.00) for each <br />individual dwelling unit to be occupied." <br />SECTION 2: That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent <br />with this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, repealed. <br />5ECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and <br />for the further reason that it is necessary that this Ordinance go into effect immediately so <br />that the City may receive increased revenues needed to enable the City to conduct <br />inspections which promote and protect the safety of residents who live in apartments, and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />1 <br />PASSED: <br />„ <br />?A T-TEST <br />BARBARA L.
