?. ? <br />Ordinance No. 2003-93 <br />(a) No temporary place of business or promotional event shall be located so as to <br />interfere with any of the lot area set aside for required pazking or other accessory use upon the <br />lot. In addition, no temporary place of business or promotional event shall be located within a <br />required setback area of a lot. Further, no temporary place of business or promotional event <br />sha11 store or display merchandise wit6in twenty-five feet from the entrance of the primary <br />structure on the lot where such temporary business or promotional event is to be located. <br />(b) Placement of any element(s) for a temporary place of business or promotional <br />event as licensed in this chapter shall be subject to the following design standards and <br />requirements: <br />(1) A minimum five-foot unobstructed sidewalk width parallel to storefronts <br />and free from any parking over6ang, shall be maintained at all times, and <br />in addition, a minimum five-foot wide unobstructed accessway shall be <br />maintained to the street and parking area(s), directly aligned with the <br />storefront entry. <br />(2) A minimum seven-foot vertical clearance shall be maintained for any <br />element such as flower pots, or other ornamentations that project more <br />than twelve (12) inches horizontally, mounted on ezterior walls or <br />columns, or hung from canopy ceilings. <br />(3) No placement(s) shail encroach upon any required parking space(s), <br />landscape area, Gre lane, handicapped access ramp, or handicapped <br />access route. <br />(4) All placements shall maintain safe visibility of vehicular traffic and <br />pedestrians, in accordance with standards prescribed by the City. <br />(5) All placements shall maintain clear visibility and access to all traffic signs, <br />control devices, and other safety installations. <br />(6) All placements <br />?shall adhere to any conditions imposed by City Council or <br />any Board or Commission ezercising jurisdiction. <br />All license submittals shall be in the manner and form prescribed by the Director of <br />Public Safety and be accompanied with sufricient information to demonstrate conformance <br />with these requirements. Such information may include, and not necessarily be limited to, a <br />site plan/sidewalk plan with dimensions, photos/catalogue cuts of proposed elements to be <br />placed, signatares of approval from the shopping center owner/management as applicable, <br />any comment(s) from the business association, etc. <br />SECTION 3: That Section 721.06 of the Business Regulation Code which presently read <br />as follows: <br />721.06 DEPOSIT FOR CLEANING PREMISES. <br />The applicant shall also deposit, before such license is issued, the sum of one hundred <br />5 <br />
