<br />SECTION 2; That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized, upon approval of the <br />Board of Control, to enter into an Agreement with the information system consultant <br />selected in the RFP (Request for Proposal) process in substantially the form as the <br />Agreement attached to this Ordinance as Exhibit B, with only such changes to be <br />hereinafter made as are not substantially adverse to the City and which are approyed by <br />both the Mayor and the Director of Law. The character of any such changes as not being <br />substantia,lly adverse to the City sha11 be evidenced conclusively by the execution of the <br />Agreement by the Mayor and the approval of the Agreement by the Director of Law. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare <br />ofthis City, and for the further reason that this Ordinance is required to be immediately <br />effective to enable the City to design, purchase and install the new Financial Accounting <br />Information System prior to the end of the 2003 fiscal year; and further provided that it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of a11 members of Council, it shafl take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ._?2 c0 3 <br />ATTES : ? ) ( <br />'NA <br />APPROVED: <br />r ? <br />MAYOR NORMAN T.
