PROPOSAL DEADLINE <br />5iz (6) bound copies of a proposal must be received by the City of North <br />Olmsted, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070, no later than <br />12:00 noon, (April 30, 2003). All proposals must be addressed to the attention of <br />Ms. Carrie B. Copfer, Director of Finance. All proposals shall be plainly marked on <br />the outside: <br />"INFQRMATION SYSTEMS CONSULTING SERVICES PROPO5AL". <br />V. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT <br />The evaluation, purchase and installation of a financial accounting information <br />system for the City of North Olmsted within the available resources and conversion <br />to be completed by end of 2003. <br />VI. INFORMATION SYSTEMS CONSULTING SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />The successful Proposer will provide information systems consulting services as <br />outlined below: <br />Basic Scope of Services: <br />Information systems consulting for the development of a Request for Proposal(RFP) for <br />the purchase and installation of a financial accounting information system for the City of <br />North Olmsted within the available resources and conversion to be completed by end of <br />2003. <br />Detailed Scope of Services: <br />Including but not limited to: querying vaxious staff, evaluating present and future <br />information system needs, prioritizing needs in conjunction with available resources and <br />existing time constraints, data conversion options, documenting results and development <br />of RFP in conjunction with the Director of Finance for the purchase, conversion and <br />implementation of financial accounting information system including computer software, <br />hardware, other necessary equipment, ongoing costs of mairrtaining said system and <br />relevant interfaces with external products thereto. <br />Studying market with Director of Finance of available softwaxe, hardware and <br />connectivity with other City systems not limiting ourselves to just cunent needs, but <br />evaluate ability to address future information systems needs including but not limited to e <br />government solutions such as: <br />• Web based on-line recreation program registration and payment <br />• Engineering software to inventory and account for city infrastructure <br />5 <br />
