<br />Resolution No. 2003-38 <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to enter into a new contract <br />with R.E. Warner & Associates, Inc., providing for consulting engineer services to be rendered <br />to the City for an additional two months' period pending the appointment of a new City Engineer <br />by the Director of Public Services. The new contract with R.E. Warner & Associates, Inc. shall <br />be in form and substance in accord with the Letter Agreement, attached to this Resolutxon as <br />"Exhibit A." <br />SECTION 2: The maximum authorized expenditure under this new contract shall be <br />Seven Thousand Dollazs ($7,000.00) per month, and additionally $1,500.04 for environmentai <br />engineering services, for a total maximum expenditure of Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred <br />Dollars ($15,500.40) over two months. <br />SECTIOIV 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessa.ry for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary that this resolution immediately go into effect because the <br />cunent contract with R.E. Warner expired on Febn.iary 28, 2003, and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of a11 members af Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />-, <br />PASSED: a0 0 ?
