The Employee contribution shall be withheld as a payroll <br />deduction not later than the first pay period of each month. <br />19.5 Expected cost of premium is defined as the cost of all medical, hospital, prescriprion drug and <br />related fees including, but not 1'united to, administration fees. <br />19.6 The Employer reserves the right to establish plans, enrollment periods and regulations. <br />19.7 The Employer shall establish an Insurance Committee of one (1) to two (2) representative from <br />each of the City's bargaining units, if they choose to be represented and a minimum of one (1) <br />representative of the Employer. The Committee shall meet at least once a month for the purpose <br />of exploring cost saving measures and/or alterative health plans. The Committee shall make <br />recommendations regarding health caze coverage and such recommendations shall be presented to <br />each bargaining unit as well as to the City Administration. <br />19.8 All changes affecting the plan coverage's co-payment, deducribles, providers' enrollment periods, <br />and regulations will be shared with the bargaining unit prior to making such changes. <br />19.9 It is further agreed that if any bargaining unit employed by the City ofNorth Olmsted, in <br />negotiations held snbsequent to this Agreement and for the same time period covered under this <br />Agreement, negotiates to conclusion a lower percentage of Employee contnbution to the health <br />Insurance Plan, that lower percentage shall apply to the unit covered under this Agreement. Said <br />lower percentage shall commence under this Agreement at the time that it is agreed upon by <br />another unit, and shall continue for the remaining yeazs covered under this Agreement. <br />19.10 All Employees shalt receive $25,000.00 in group term life insurance, paid for by the Employer. <br />19.11 The city shall cause to be implemented the curreYtt Health Care Plan as a qualified Plan under <br />Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code. <br />ARTICLE XX <br />APPENDICES AND AMENDMENTS <br />All appendices and amendments to this Agreement shall be numbered (or lettered), dated and <br />signed by the Employer and the Association and shall be subject to all provisions of this <br />Agreement. <br />33 <br />
