ARTICLE XXI <br />SUCCESSORS <br />This Agreement shall be binding upon successors and assigns of the parties hereto, and no provisions, <br />terms, or obligarions herein contained shall be affected, modified, altered, or changed in any respect <br />whatscever by the consolidation, merger, annexation, transfer, or assignment of either party hereto, or by <br />any change geographically or otherwise in the location or place of business of either party. <br />ARTICLE XXII <br />SAVINGS CLAUSE <br />If any provisions of this Agreement, or the application of any provision of this Agreement should be <br />rendered or declared invalid by any court action or reason of any existing or subsequently enacted <br />legislarion, the remaining parts or portions of this Agreement shall remain in full farce and effect. <br />ARTICLE XXIII <br />ASSOCIATION BUSINESS AND MEETINGS <br />23.1 Not more than five (5) members of the Associarion either elected or appointed by the Association <br />for the pnrpose of negoriating with the Employer shall be allowed tnne off for all meetings with <br />the Employer which shall be mutually set by the Employer and the Association, provided the <br />Association members remain in service. <br />23.2 The Employer agrees that the Associadon shall be permitted to hold meetings at the Fire House as <br />long as the meetings do not interfere with the regulaz activities of the Fire Department. <br />Additionatly, all Association members shall be allowed to attend all Association meetings <br />provided the Association members remain in service and receive approval of the Fire Chief. <br />34 <br />
