?. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 2003-17 <br />and Administrative Services only with the concurrence of two-third (2/3) of the members <br />of Council eligible to vote." <br />SECTION 2: That there be and hereby is created new Section 177.03 of Chapter 177 of <br />the Administrative Code, entitled, "Removal of Director," which, in its entirety, shall read as <br />follows: <br />"177.03 REMOVAL OF DIRECTOR <br />The Mayor may remove the Director of Planning only with the concunence of <br />two-thirds (2/3) of the members of Council eligible to vote." <br />SECTION 3: That the operation of any Ordinance, or part of any Ordinance in conflict or <br />inconsistent with any provision of this Ordinance is, to the extent of any such conflict or <br />inconsistency, repealed. <br />SECTION 4: That this legislation is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately in order that the <br />Director of Personnel and Administrative Services may provide vital services to the City at the <br />same level as other appointed City directors and in order to protect and promote the welfare <br />interests of the City's employees, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote af two- <br />thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />by Council and approval by the Mayor. <br />-) <br />PASSED: <br />ATTES : <br />First Reading: d-3 _ <br />Second Reading: 0 ? <br />Third Reading: y D 3_ <br />Committee: ,eo <br />_ C?" <br />THOMAS E.
