<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -15 <br />BY: Mayor Musial <br />? <br />A RESOLUTIONAMENDING SECTION 2 OF RESOL UTION NO. <br />2002-1 50, WHICH A UTHORIZED THE MAYOR TO ADVERTISE <br />FOR BIDS AND TO THEREAFTER, FOLLOWING APPROVAL OF <br />TIfE BOARD OF CONTROL, ENTER INTO A CONTRACT OR <br />CDNTRACTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW NORTH <br />OLMSTED LIBRARY, IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE MAXIMUM <br />EXPENDITURE AUTHORIZED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE <br />BUILDING AND OTHER RELATED SITE IMPROVEMENTS, AND <br />DECLARIIVG AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, this Council, on November 19, 2002, adopted Resolution No. 2002- <br />150, which authorized the Mayor to advertise for bids far the construction of the new <br />North Olmsted Library, and, following approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a <br />contract or contracts with the lowest and best bidder or bidders; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 2 of said Resolution limited the maximum expenditure for <br />the Library building and related site irnprovements to $5,800,000.00; and <br />WI-IEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to amend Section 2 of Resolution No. <br />2002-150 so as to increase the maximum expenditure for the construction of the library <br />building and related site improvements to $6,000,000.00; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE Tl RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SEC1'ION 1: That Section 2 of Resolution No. 2002-150, which presently reads <br />as fotlows: <br />"Section Z_: That the Mayor, upon approval by the Board of Control and <br />the written concurrence of the Cuyahoga County Public Library, is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a Corrtract with the lowest and best bidder for a <br />general contract or for a component of construction for multiple contracts <br />in the amount not to exceed $5,8000,000, in substantially the form of the <br />contract which is attached to this Resolution as Exhibit A." <br />Be amended, and, as amended, shall read as follows: <br />
