<br />Resolution No. 2003-15 <br />? <br />"Section 2: That the Mayor, upon approval by the Board of Control and <br />the written concurrence of the Cuyahoga County Public Library, is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a Contract with the lowest and best bidder for a <br />general contract or for a component of construction for multiple contracts <br />in the amount not to exceed $6,000,000, in substantially the form of the <br />contract which is attached to this Resolution as Exhibit A." <br />SECTION 2: That any part of Resolution No. 2002-150, or any other <br />resolution or ordinance, or part of resolution or ordinance, which is inconsistent or <br />in conflict with this Resolution is, to the extent of any such inconsistency or <br />conflict, repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare, and for the further reason that this Resolution must go into effect immediately so <br />that the City's Board of Control may timely exercise its discretion and award contracts <br />for the construction of the new Library before the bids expire in February, 2003, and to <br />stay on the project timeline, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members of Council, it sha.ll take effect and be in force irnmediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />A <br /> <br />Barbara L.
