I
?- ?
U '
I WATER AND SAIVITARY: Design and supervision of water mains, water storage and
? supply facilities, pumping stations, construction of storm and interceptor sewer systems,
water and sewage treatment plants, irrigation studies, including da.ta on water conservation
and drainage systems, preparation of hydrological studies and program cost engineering.
? ENVIRONMENTAL: Feasibility studies in-plant surveys; preliminary and detailed
system design; water, air and noise pollution abatement program development; water
? purification, solid waste disposal and preparation of environmental impact statements; and
analytical laboratary services.
? MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL: Design and layout of HVAC and electrical systems;
steam and fossil fuel power; central heating plants; electrical generating, transmission, and
? distribution systems; precess piping and plumbing systems fire protection systems; and site
development.
? CONTROL SYSTEMS (Instrumentation and Computer Systems): Preliminary feasibility
studies, in-plant surveys, detailed system design, preparation of contract documents, bid
analysis, contract negotiations, construction management, installation, system start-up,
? operation and maintenance services and energy optimization.
ENERGY: Energy audit and energy analysis, conservation recommendations and retrofit
? engineering; evaluating energy management projects utilizing life cycle costing techniques;
pre-engineering energy studies; feasibility studies and engineering for energy recovery
systems; energy demand projections; and energy resources development.
? In addition to POLYTECH's extensive back round and ex ertise in a varie f en'
g p ty o gineermg and
? architectural disciplines, our in-house computer capability and quality control program assure
clients of an efficient state-of-the-art approach to design and cost control from preliminary
concepts through construction supervision. Fach project is designed to create a total facility which
? sets a standard of excellence in design quality while maintaining the most practical balance
possible between initial cost and optimum life cycle values.
A 2
