? B. PROJECT ORGANIZATION ? Polytech will have full responsibility for development of the project and management of the ? project team through their Project Manager, Mrs. Eva D. Vargas, P.E. She will be the focal point of communications, coordinating the team's efforts and serving as a single-source conta.ct throughout the project to receive and convey all information and distribute it to the proper ? recipient. Effective communication is a key element of a successful effort, and one of her responsibilities is to ensure that there is clear communication between all team members and the City regarding relevant facts, expectations, requirements, scope of work, schedule and funding. ? Mrs. Vargas has been selected for this assignment because of her extensive experience as project manager and design engineer on similar highway projects for the Ohio Department of ? Transportation and the City of Cleveland. Her tasks will include the following: • communication and coordination with the City of North Olmsted ? • communication and coordination with subconsultants, monitoring their performance to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule and in accordance with project ? requirements • communication and coordination with private and public utilities • work assignments for team members ? • project schedule • progress reports • review meetings ? • construction budget The Project Principal will be Mr. Babu K. Patel, P.E. He will represent Polytech in all ? contractual dealings with the City of North Olmsted, and will work with the Project Manager to provide general administrative and overall review of the project. ? Proposed team members have been carefully selected to meet the specific needs of this project, and the resumes of our key personnel aze included in Section III. They aze experienced in projects ? of similar scope and magnitude, and will bring this project to completion on time and meeting the construction budget. 3
