<br />A. GENERAL PROJECT REQUIREMENTS <br />All work will conform to the requirements stated in the Request for Proposal dated September 21, <br />1995 included at the end of Section II. The following services will be provided: <br />l. Field Survev <br />The field survey will be performed to obtain topographic information as outlined in our <br />subconsultant's proposal included at the end of Section IV. Horizontal and vertical <br />controls will be documented and clearly shown on the plan drawings. <br />2. Pre-Desigp Services <br />The project design criteria will be presented to the City Engineering Department for <br />approval, and all data will be coordinated with the City. The preliminary budget and <br />schedule will be presented to the City for review. <br />3. <br />? All drawings will be prepared on 24"x 36"sheets, using lettering standards, symbols, <br />layouts and conventions used by the Ohio Department of Transportation and the Cuyahoga <br />? County Engineer, if acceptable to the City of North Olmsted. A list of the anticipated <br />drawings is listed with the cost proposal in Section IV. Applicable standard details and <br />construction drawings from the Ohio Department of Transportation and the Cuyahoga <br />? County Engineer will be incorporated in the project drawings. <br />For project specifications, we will refer to the 1995 Construction and Material <br />? Specifications of the Otcio Department of Transportation. Any deviations or amplifications <br />to these specifications will be included in the Project Manual, which will also contain the <br />advertisement, instruction to bidders, general conditions, bid forms, bond requirements, <br />? prevailing wage rates, affidavits, Ohio Public Works Commission forms, and other <br />miscellaneous form to complete the bidding document. <br />? Drawings will be prepared using AutoCAD Release 12, except those which incorporate <br />details or standards from another agency. Additions to the Project Manual will be <br />? prepared using Wordperfect for Windows. The AutoCAD drawings and the additions to <br />the Project Manual can be made available to the City on diskettes upon completion of the <br />project. <br />The following design aspects will be addressed in the plans and specifications: <br />7
