I <br />, . <br />? a. Roadwav DesiLn: The roadway plans will show all the information regarding <br />` alignment, profile, typical sections and geometrics. The following scales will be <br />? used, if approved by the City: <br />Plan 1 " = 20' <br />? Profile 1" = 20' horizonta.l, 1" = 5' vertical <br />Cross Sections 1 " = 5' <br />Typical Sections 1/4" = 1'-0" <br />? The scale far the details will be selected to best represent the required information. <br />All utilities including storm sewers, sanitary sewers and water lines will be shown <br />? in both plan and profile views. Cross sections will be provided at driveway <br />centerlines, and the revised driveway profile will be shown. <br />? b. Drai e Desien: Drainage criteria to be used on the project will be coordinated <br />with the City prior to initiating the design. The new storm sewers will be designed <br />to outlet into the existing ditch without provisions for detention. <br />? <br />c. Waterwork: The waterwork on this project will only consist in extending existing <br />fine hydrants. The main and laterals will remain at their current locations and <br />? conditions. <br />d. ilit.y Coordination: All utility owners will be contacted when the project is <br />? initiated, and they will receive copies of the plans from the preliminary submission <br />and from the final tracings. The procedures outlined in ODOT's Utility Manual <br />will be followed throughout the project, with the City's approval. <br />? e. GentPrhnical Invectigations: No geotechnical investigations will be performed as <br />part of this project, since the road bed has been in place for many years and is <br />? stable. <br />f. Reviews: All reviews will be performed by the City of North Olmsted. No <br />? reviews will be performed by the Ohio Department of Transportation or the <br />Cuyahoga County Engineer. <br />? g. ConstrLCtion Cost Ectimate: A detailed construction cost estimate will be <br />submitted with the pre-final plans and with the final tracings. <br />? 4. Bidding and ConstrLCtion Services <br />Fifteen (15) sets of plans and Project Manuals will be furnished to the City for bidding <br />purposes, and we will be available to answer questions regarding plan intent during <br />? bidding, and to assist the City in the evaluation of all bids received. <br />a <br />? g <br />r
