1 through June 30) covered by the terms of this Agreement. The personal days shall be <br />scheduled by mutual agreement between the employee and his supervisor. <br />Section 4. If an employee does not use sick leave time for any 6 month period, <br />from his last sick day, he shall receive two (2) personal days off or, at his option, the <br />cash equivalent of one (1) or two (2) days. Such bonus days may be taken at a time <br />mutually agreeable to the City and the employee. Such bonus days must be taken <br />within one (1) year of accrual. Up to one absence per year for attending a funeral as <br />provided in Article 15 may be used without affecting eligibility for bonus days. <br />Section 5. To be entitled to holiday pay, employees must work the last regular <br />work day before the first regular work day after the holiday unless excused by the City. <br />If any of the above holidays fall on a Saturday or a Sunday, either the previous Friday or <br />the following Monday shall be observed as the holiday, except that where employees at <br />the Wastewater Plant (which maintains a 7 day operation) normally work a rotating shift, <br />the holiday shall be observed on its actual day. <br />Section 6. An employee shall take his birthday within the pay period in which it <br />falls except, an alternate date may be established by mutual agreement between the <br />employee and his supervisor. The aforementioned mutually agreed alternate date shall <br />be limited to the period of time within the pay period the employees birthday falls. <br />ARTICLE 23 - CALL-IN PAY <br />Section 1. If an employee receives prior notific;ation of call-in during his previous <br />shift. and the overtime work is continuous with schedules work hours, the employee <br />shall receive pay at the appficable rate only for actual overtime hours worked. If, <br />however, an employee does not receive prior notification of call-in during his previous <br />00* shift; he shall receive a minimum of three (3) hours work or three (3) hours pay. <br />4ww <br />29 <br />
