ARTICLE 34 - AFSCME CARE PLAN/LEGAL CARE PLAN <br />Section 1. The City shall continue to participate in the American Federation of <br />State, County and Municipal Employees, Care Plan for all full-time employees in the <br />bargaining unit represented by the Union. The City's obligation shall be limited to <br />making contributions at the rate of thirty-six dollars and seventy-five cents ($36.75) per <br />month per employee for AFSCME Care Plan coverage for each regular full-time <br />employees. <br />Section 2. The City shall contribute an additional five dollars ($5.00) per full- <br />time employee per month for AFSCME Legal Plan coverage for each regular full-time <br />employee. <br />ARTICLE 35 - WAGES <br />Section 1. Effective July 1, 1995 through December 31, 1995, all employees in <br />the bargaining unit shall receive a wage increase of four and one half percent (4.5%) <br />and be paid in accordance with the wage rates set forth in Appendix "A". (The City shall <br />compute overtime separately from straight time and shall show the overtime and straight <br />time separately on the employee's pay stub. Additionally, the City shall compute and <br />show on the employee's pay stub his accrued sick leave and vacation time. <br />Section 2. Effective January 1, 1996 through December 31, 1996 all employees <br />in the bargaining unit shall receive a wage increase of three and one half percent (3.5%) <br />and be paid in accordance with the wage rates set forth in Appendix "A-1 ". <br />Section 3. Effective January 1, 1997 through the duration of this Agreement, atl <br />employees in the bargaining unit shall receive a wage increase of three percent (3.0%) <br />and be paid in accordance with the wage rates set forth in Appendix "A-2". <br /> <br />38 <br />
