EXHIBIT B- 13 CONTINUED LIFT STATION ATTENDANT <br />DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS: <br />• Considerable knowledge of tools, materials, methods and modern techniques <br />commonly used in public works, utility construction and maintenance activities. <br />• Considerable knowledge of hazards and safety precautions necessary in <br />pumping operations and maintenance work. <br />• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees <br />and the general public. <br />• Ability to participate in the work of maintenance and performing varied tasks and <br />to obtain effective results. <br />• Physical strength and agility sufficient to do strenuous manual labor for extended <br />periods, under varying weather conditions. <br />DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: <br />Average experience in the semi-skilled maintenance and repair of a variety of <br />machinery and equipment related to the area of assignment; graduation from a <br />standard high school or vocational school, supplemented by completion of <br />appropriate and approved work course in pumping operations and maintenance. <br />EXHIBIT B - 13 <br />76 <br />
