POLtCE DEPARTMENT SECRETARY Former(y Secretary tt within Division of Police Effective July 1, 1995 the #ollowing base rate of pay shall be paid providing the year(s) of fuli- time service requirement is met: Employee having completed five (5) year(s) or more service by July 1, 1995 $10.43 per hour Employee having completed four (4) year(s) or more service by Juiy 1, 1995 $ 9.98 per hour Employee having completed three (3) year(s) or more service by July 1, 1995 $ 9.55 per hour Employee having completed two (2) year(s) or more service by July 1, 1995 $ 9.14 per hour Employee having completed one (1) year(s) or more service by July 1, 1995 $ 8.75 per hour Employees starting------------ Zero (0) After July 1, 1995----------------------- $ 8.37 per hour Effective January 1, 1996 through December 39, 1996, the following base rate of pay shall be paid providing the year (s) of fuN-time service requirement is met: Employee having completed five (5) year(s) or more service by June 30, 1996 $10.80 per hour Employee having completed four (4) year(s) or more service by June 30, 1996 $10.33 per hour Employee having completed three (3) year(s) or more service by June 30, 1996 $ 9.88 per hour Employee having completed two (2) year(s) or more service by June 30, 1996 $ 9.46 per hour Employee having completed one {1} year(s) or more service by June 30, 1996 $ 9.06 per hour Employees starting------------ Zero (0) After June 30, 1996----------------------- $ 8.66 per hour Effective January 1, 1997 through the duration of the agreement, the following base rate of pay shall be paid providing the year (s) of full-time service requirement is met: Employee having completed five (5) year(s) or more service by June 30, 1997 $11.12 per hour Employee having completed four (4) year(s) or more service by June 30, 1997 $10.64 per hour Employee having completed three (3) year(s) or more service by June 30, 1997 $10.18 per hour Employee having completed two (2) year(s) or more service by June 30, 1997 $ 9.74 per hour Employee having completed one (1) year(s) or more service by June 30, 1997 $ 9.33 per hour Employees starting------------ Zero (0) After June 30, 1997---------------------- $ 8.92 per hour Effective July 1, 1995, empioyee's that have been promoted to the classification of Police Department Secretary after July 1, 1995, shall be eligible to move to the next higher pay rate step after completing one (1) continuous year of service within this classification.
