The base rate of pay for Building Division Inspectors and HVAC inspectors are based on the <br />following: <br />A. Years of service enforcing the Ohio Basic Building Code as a certified and licensed <br />inspector with any government agency - not to exceed four (4) years credit; <br />B. Completion of a full year apprenticeship training program acceptable to the employer with <br />related work experience in the related trade - two (2) years credit; <br />C. Completion of trade school training acceptable to the employer in related field of the trade <br />Minimum two (2) years school training - one (1) year credit; <br />D. Actively engaged in and working at related trade, employer may grant one (1) year <br />service credit for every three (3) years actively working at the related trade - maximum three <br />(3) years credit; <br />E. The above service credits may be combined, but in any event no credit shall be granted in <br />excess of four years; <br />F. Employees within this classification without first certification or license shall be paid at a base <br />rate of one thousand ($1000.00) per year less than the base rate of pay listed within the <br />above wage schedule. (Trainee licensees are not considered to be a first license or <br />certification); <br />INSPECTOR -INCENTIVE PROGRAM <br />To qualify: Licenses and Certification should be issued by the State of Ohio: <br />SECOND LICENSE: $500.00 ANNUALLY, PAID QUARTERLY -$125.00 Per Quarter. <br />THIRD LICENSE: $500.00 ANNUALL.Y, PAID QUARTERLY -$125.00 Per Quarter. <br />Effective Ju1y 1, 1995, employee's that have been promoted to the classification of Building Division <br />Inspector / HVAC Inspector after July 1, 1995, shall be eligible to move to the next higher pay rate <br />step afiter completing one (1) continuous year of service within this classification. <br />Appendix A - 8 <br /> <br />46 <br />. ?- ? 4_? . ?. . . .. <br />, . ...
