<br />J4B DESCRIPTI4N <br />POSITION TITLE: CHIEF INSPECTOR <br />RESPONSIBLE TO: CITY ENGINEER <br />RESPONSIBLE FOR: Inspection of all Construction Activity <br />under the jurisdiction of the City, Division <br />of Engineering <br />DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: <br />1. Supervise and coordinate the activity of the Division of Engineering Inspectors. <br />2. Review construction pians and specifications of ail projects submitted to the Division of <br />Engineering with respect to construction standards and methods. <br />3. Inspect all new construction which will be dedicated to public use or for City <br />maintenance. <br />4. Arrange for all necessary testing of materials and construction under the jurisdiction of the <br />Division of Engineering. <br />5. Review and file inspection records and reports. <br />6. Advise the City Engineer as to the acceptability of construction to be approved by the <br />Division of Engineering. <br />7. Other duties as assigned. <br />Appendix B - 17 <br />71 <br />
