?f <br />Whereas, despite their many contributions, the /asting political and social <br />significance of the suffrage campaign remains virtual/y unacknowledged in the <br />chronic%s of American history. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF <br />OH/O: <br />SECTION 1: That it is the desire of this Administration and City Council to <br />recognize August 26, 1995 as the 75th Anniversary of the ratification of the 19th <br />Amendment to the U. S Constitution. <br />SECTION 2: That this Reso/ution is hereby dec/ared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and we/fare, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediate/y upon its <br />passage and,Approva/ by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ???? <br />ATTEST; <br />? <br />Barbara L.
