<br />Ordinance No. 95-97 <br />Page 2 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the action, of the Director of Public Safety with respect to the <br />termination of the purchase agreement for 5(five) 1995 Chevrolet Caprice police cruisers with <br />Jack Maxton Chevrolet for the reason that the dealership has been unable to meet the delivery <br />date for said cruisers as promised, be and hereby is ratified and confirmed. <br />SECTION 2: That the action of the Director of Public Safety with respect to entering <br />into a purchase agreement with "32 Ford" for the purchase of 5(five) 1995 Ford Crown Victoria <br />police cruisers without first advertising and accepting bids for the purchase of the same, be and <br />hereby is ratified and confirmed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the <br />further reason that the City must acquire police cruisers for the replacement of older units, arid <br />provided that it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />,.. ? ? <br />PASSE L'P``'? ? <br />J <br />A <br />tA SEMAN, ` <br />OF COUNCIL <br />APPROVED 4;-Z'° <br />?
