CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 95-46 <br />BY: MAYOR BOYLE <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION <br />AND BENEFITS TO BE PAID TO ALL PART-TIME <br />HOURLY IIMPLOYEES 121PIAYED BY 'IIiEE NORTH <br />OLMSTID MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, AND DECLARING <br />AN IIKERGIINCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish the pay benefits <br />for part-time hourly NOMBL employees, effective May 1, 1995, in order that <br />they be similar to those presently offered to employees of the Greater <br />Cleveland Regional Transit Authority. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF 'II3E CITY OF NORTH <br />OUiSTED, COUN'i'Y OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the compensation to be paid to all part-time hourly <br />employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be as follows: <br />Part-time Hourly Fmployees <br />Effective May l, 1995 <br />Classification Rate Ste s <br />Title 1* A 2* (B) 3* 4* <br />Bus Operator 9. 5 10511.2 $12.87 <br />Hostler $9.11 $9.87 $10.63 $12.15 <br />Fxtra Labor $5.00 to $7.00 ranges** <br />*Each rate step is 2,080 part-time hours. Part-time hourly Bus <br />Operators and Hostlers who are subsequently hired full-time will remain in <br />the rate step schedule they are in as a full-time employee. However, no <br />credit with part-time hours will be applied towards their full-time <br />employr.ient wage progression within that rate step. <br />(A) Hired Part-Time on or after rfay 1, 1995 <br />(B) Hired Part-Time before May 1, 1995 <br />However, a retired employee of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line <br />who had at least five (5) years of full-time service and is re-employed as <br />part-time within twenty-four (24) months of his / her retirement date shall <br />be hired at Rate Step Four (4) of this ordinance. <br />
