-- CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 72- ~I~'~ Page 2 This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, at the rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed by the City of North Olmsted, and said sum shall be paid on each anniversary date of employment. Section 4. That all full time employees of the Finance Department shall receive the following holidays off ,unless requested to work by the Director of Finance in emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of pay ;New Year's Day ; Memorial Day; Independence Day ;Labor Day ;Thanksgiving Day ; Christmas Day ;and the employees birthday. Section 5. That the City of North Olmsted shall contribute a single person's rate with either the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual Hospitalization Plans or with the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan for all secretarial and clerical employees of the Finance Department of the City of North Olmsted. In the event the Income Tax Division Administrator is unmarried the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single person's rate of the hospitalization cost and in the event the Income Tax Division Administrator is married or is the head of a household the City of North Olmsted shall contribute an additional sum of $200.00 per year towards the cost of family hospitalization with either the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual Hospitalization Plans or Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan. The provisions of Section 5 excludes the elected Hirector of Finance of the City of North Olmsted. Section 6. That all full time employees of the Finance Department shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule : Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service . Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. Section 7. That the Assistant Director of Finance is hereby authorized to sign checks on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, but only in the event the Director of Finance is absent from the City or on vacation. Section 8. That the Clerk of Council is hereby direct®d to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance immediately upon its passage. Section 9. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, are hereby repealed , especially Ordinance No. 72-73, enacted June 6, 1972, with the effective date of this Ordinance. Section 10. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted.
