For all dwelling units, the service equipment shall have <br />a rating of not less than 100 amperes, three multiple <br />switches or circuit breakers,are used in accordance <br />with Paragraph 230-70 (G), this service equipment <br />shall provide a minimum of 100 amperes of connected <br />overcurrent protection consisting of not less than <br />two (2) 50 ampere, 250 volt, two pole overcurrent <br />devices. <br />Section 10. That Article 230 shall have added to it Section 108, which shall <br />read as follows: <br />Article 230, Section 108, SERVICES <br />All new services shall be installed in rigid metal <br />conduit, and all service shall be installed in <br />basements or first floor level only. <br />Section 11. That Article 700, shall have added to it Section 23, Paragraphs <br />A, B, C, and D, which shall read as follows: <br />Article 700, Section 23 EMERGENCY POWER AND LIGHTING <br />A. All multi-dwelling units with underground garages. There <br />lighting and power, for ventilation shall be wired to emergency <br />supply source to which the load will be transferred auto- <br />matically and immediately upon the failure of the normal <br />supply. <br />B. All elevator lights shall be wired to emergency lighting. <br />C, A11 stairway lighting and the lights specified as necessary <br />to provide sufficient illumination, and all required exit <br />lights shall be wired to emergency lighting branch circuits. <br />D. All fire alarm systems and annunciators shall be wired to <br />emergency branch circuits. The Fire Alarms System connected <br />to the annunciators shall designate where alarm was set off, <br />East, West, North, or South, and on what floor. This directive <br />is required by the Fire Safety Department of the City of North <br />Olmsted's Fire Department. <br />Section 12. That Article 680, shall have added to it Section 32, Paragraphs <br />A, B, C, and D, which shall read as follows: <br />Article 680, Section 32 SWIMMING POOLS-GENERAL <br />A. All swimming pools shall be wired in metal rigid conduit. For <br />all lighting and power, ground fault circuit interrupter must be <br />used on lighting of 110 volts and low voltage lighting, and shall <br />be kept entirely independent of all other wiring and electrical <br />equipment. <br /> <br />
