No side walk or deck shall be poured until electrical inspection is made of all conduit and boxes. D. A11 wiring shall be inspected before pool is turned over to customers for proper wiring of pool. Section 13. That the National Electrical Code, 1971 edition, be further supplemented by adding the following requirements entitled "general Residential Occupancy`.' GENERAL RESIDENTIAL OCCUPANCY A. In all dwellings a light (controlled by a wall switch) shall be provided at all outside exits to be located so as to illuminate the approach to and including outside steps. B. In multi-dwelling apartment buildings all lights for hallways and stairways shall be on from darkness to daylight. C. A11 attached garages shall have one duplex receptacle on wall. D. All residential homes shall have electric door bells or chimes installed at front door and at back or side door or mechanical. E. A11 furaaces shall be on separate circuit with a single pole switch on furnace to turn on or off. F. Ventilating Fans in inside toilet rooms, bathrooms and lavatories. There shall be provided a ventilating fan of proper C. F. M. controlled by a switch. G. A11 New Wiring. On additions, remodeling, etc. , must be brought bask to distribution panel and put on new branch circuits. H. ,~~a~~ti.n~~~~ra`f~Lighting. A11 lighting and power in parking lots and driveways shall be installed in rigid metal conduit, and must be bonded to poles and fi~ttures. Section 14. That the Clerk of Council be furnished a copy of the National Electrical Code, 1971 edition, together with the amendments and additions contained therein, which copy shall be kept in the care, custody and control of the Clerk of Council in compliance with O. R. C. Section 731. 231. Section 15. This Ordinance is adopted under the provisions of the Ohio Revised Code 731.231 and shall be published and posted in the form and manner required by the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. Section 16. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a copy of this ordinance to the Building Commissioner and the Electrical Inspector of the City of North Olmsted.
