Two (2) Class C laborers <br />Section 5. That retroactive to January 1, 1972, the compensation <br />to be paid to the members and employees in the Service Department, the <br />Vehicle Maintenance Department and the Building :~m~~saa~e Department <br />sections of the Public Works Division shall be as follows: <br />Public Works Commissioner $10,000.00 to $14,44t}.00 annually <br />Secretary to the Public Works <br />Commissioner 4,600.00 to 6,210.00 annually <br />Superintendent of Public Service <br />and Properties Section 4.55 to 5.85 per hour <br />Vehicle Maintenance Department Foreman 4.00 to 5.35 per hour <br />Vehicle Maintenance Department FIechanic 3.20 to 4.45 per hour <br />Service Department Foreman 4.00 to 5.10 per hour <br />Service Department Class A Laborer 3.20 to 4.45 per hour <br />Service Department Class B Laborer 2.95 to 4.20 per hour <br />Service Department Class C Laborer 2.70 to 4.45 per hour <br />Service Department Class D Laborer 1.60 to 2.80 per hour <br />which salaries shall be paid bi-weekly by the Finance Director. <br />Section 6. Employees of the Public Works Division and the <br />Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner shall be paid their regular <br />rate of pay and shall not be required to work on the following holidays: <br />New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving; <br />Christmas Day; and the employee's birthday. Employees of the above de- <br />partment of the Public Works Division shall not be required to work on the <br />aforesaid holidays unless required to work on said holidays by the Public <br />Works Commissioner in case of an emergency. <br />Section 7. The secretarial help of the Public Works Division of <br />the City of North Olmsted shall receive a longevity increment. The longe- <br />vity increment shall be payable over and above an annual salary or hourly <br />salary paid to said secretary or clerical help and shall be at the rate <br />of $25.00 per year for each and every year said secretary or clerical <br />help has been continually employed by the City of North Olmsted. To be <br />paid in a lump sum on the anniversary date of employment. <br />Section 8. All full time employees of the Public Works Division <br />except the Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner, having completed <br />five (5) years of full time continuous service as employees of said depart- <br />ment, or having been transferred from some other department by administrative <br />appointment, shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary, <br />thereafter until completion of ten (10) years full time continuous service, <br />after which such employee shall receive 4% of their base annual salary, <br />thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15) year of continuous <br />full time service, after which said employee shall receive 5% of their <br />base annual salary until completion of their twentieth (20) year of con- <br />tinuous full time service, and thereafter each year of full time service <br />thereby they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity <br />increments. <br />Section 9. The City of North Olmsted shall contribute a single <br />person's rate toward the purchase of hospitalization with the Blue Cross <br />and Medical Mutual Hospitalization Plans, as set forth in Contracts 53YK <br />and 57ZK for all secretarial°'and clerical employees of the Public Works <br />Division of the City of North Olmsted. <br />For all full time employees of the Public Works Division the City <br />of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single person's rate, of the <br />hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employees of the Public Works <br />.,,,M.Y . _~;,,e ..~,.,_~: <br />~.,,,n.~.~„9.,,~, ,,.... ~ , <br />
