~, ,~,; THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 72 - ~?~ BY AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART FOR THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF NORTH OI:.MS-TED, AND SETTING FORTH THE COMi'ENSATION TO BE PAID EMPLOYEES THERE08~. AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 71-57, ENACTED APRIL 20, 1971, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, Council wishes to establish an Organiiiational Chart setting forth the number. of employees within the Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted; and WHEREAS, Council wishes to set forth the remuneration of all employees in the Engineering Department. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1 That the complement of the North Olmsted Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: City Engineer Assistant Engineer Party Chief Chief Inspector Inapectsors (2) Draftsmen Engineering Aids (2) Secretary Clerk Consultants Part-time Inspectors (as needed) Sumer Help (as needed) Section 2. That retroactive to April 1, 1972, the remuneration of employees in the Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: City Engineer Assistant Engineer Party Chief Chief Inspector Inspectors Draftsmen Engineering Aids Secretary Clerk Part-time. Inspector (as needed) Sumnner Help (as needed) $13,910.00 to $18,146.00 Annually $ 9,630.00 to $14.,000.00 Annually $ 3.85 to $ 5.36 Per Hour $ 3885 to $ 5.36 Per Hour $ 3.21 to $ 4.80 Per Hour $ 3.21 to $ 4.80 Per Hour $ 2.94 to $ 4.23 Per Hour $ 4,601.00 to $ 6,209.00 Annually $ 4,280.00 to $ 5,644.00 Annually $ 3.21 to $ 4.52 Per Hour $ 1.71 to $ 2.83 Per Hour which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance Bi-weekly. Section 3. The secretarial and clerical help of the Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted shall receive as a longevity increment, the sum of $25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over and above atiy annual or Hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, and shall be at the rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed by the City of North Olmsted. To be paid in a lump sum on anniversary date of employment.
