That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, that all full time employees of the Engineering Department having completed five (5) years of full time continuous service, as employees of said department, shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (10) years of full time continuous service, af~ker which such employee shall receive 4% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15) year of continuous full time service, after which said employee shall receive 5% of their base annual salary until completion of their twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service, and thereafter each year of full time service thereafter they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments. Section 5. That all full time employees of the Engineering Department shall receive the following holidays off, unless requested to work by the Mayor in emergencies; New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday. Section 6. That all full time employees of the Engineering Department shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service. Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. Section 7. The City of North Olmsted shall contribute a single persons rate towards the purchase of hospitalization with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual Hospitalization Plans, as set forth in Contracts 53 YK and 57 ZK, for all secretarial and clerical es~gloyees of the Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted. The Gity of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single persons rate, of the hgs~i alization cost for unmarried full time employees of the Engineering Department, and in the event any full time employee of the Engineering Department is married or is the head of the family the City of North Olmsted shall contribute an additional sum of $200.00 per year towards the cost of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and M~:dical Mutual, both single persaas hospitalization and family hospitalization plans shall be established by Contracts 53 YK and 57 ZK. Section 8. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance in order that the Director of Finance can pay the compensation as hereinabove set forth. Section 9. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provision of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 71-57, enacted April 20, 1971, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. Section 10. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact of the immediate necessity of adjusting with the requirements of the various jobs. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law.
