CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 72-74 BY : `®~ AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART OF THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT, SETTING FORTH THE COMPLEMENT OF THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT AND ESTABLISHING THE C(3M~'ENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE EMPLOYEES OF THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT, AND RE- PEALING ORDINANCE NO. 71-58, ENACTED APRIL 20, 1971, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Council has established the Organizational Chart for the Building Department into a separate ordinance setting forth the personnel needed; and WHEREAS, Council wishes to set forth the compensation to be paid to the employees of the Building Department; and WHEREAS, the establishing of an Organizational Chart together with ,the salaries to be paid will assist the Director of Finance in paying the remuneration established to the employees of the Building Department. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1. That the complement of the Building Department is hereby es- tablished and set forth as follows: Building Commissioner Chief Inspector Building Inspectors (2) Sewer & Plumbing Inspectors Electrical Inspector (part-time) Heating & Ventilating Inspector Architectural Consultant (contract) Secretary to Building Commissioner Clerk Clerk (part-time as needed) Inspectors (part-time as needed) Section 2. That retroactive to January 1, 1972, the remuneration to be paid to employees of the Building Department shall be as follows: Building Commissioner Chief Inspector Building Inspectors Sewer & Plumbing Inspectors Electrical Inspector (part-time) Heat. & Vent. Inspector Architectural Consultant Secretary to Building Commissioner Clerk Clerk (part-time as needed) Inspection (Part-time as needed) Sewer & Plumbing Inspector (Part-time) $10,000.00 to $13,353.60 Annually 7,500.00 to $10,300.00 Annually 7,000.00 to $10,015.20 Annually 7,000.00 to $10,015.20 Annually 3,000.00 to $ 5,200.00 Annually 7,000.00 to $10,015.20 Annually $ up to $ 5,200.00 Annually $ 4,300.00 to $6,454.24 Annually $ 4,000.00 to $ 5,341.44 Annually up to $1,000.00 - $2.24 Per Hour up to $2,000.00 - $1.60 to $4.16 Per Hr. $ 3.50 to $ 5.00 Per Hour which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. ~:~_ „>„ .
