CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 72- ~~ PAGE 2 Section 3. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, that all full time employees of the Building Department having completed five (5) years of full time continuous service, as employees of said department, shall be paid an additional 3°~ of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (10) years full time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive 4°~ of their base annual salary, thereafter until the completion of the fifteenth (15) year of continuous full time service, and thereafter 5% of their base annual salary until after the completion of the twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service, and during each year of full time service thereafter they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments . Section 4. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of longevity increments hereinahove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity incre- ments, and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service, as employees of the Building Department . Section 5. The secretarlal and clerical help of the Building Department of the City of North Olmsted shall receive , as a longevity increment, the sum of $25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, at the rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed by the City of North Olmsted, and said sum shall be paid on each anniversary date of employment. Section 6. That the employees of the Building Department shall not be required to work the following holidays ,unless requested to work by the Building Commissioner in an emergency :New Year's Day :Memorial Day :Independence Day :Labor Day : Thanksgiving Day :Christmas Day :and the employees birthday. Section 7. That all full time employees of the Building Department shall be enti#led to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service . Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service . Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. Section 8. The City of North Olmsted shall contribute a single pi~sons irate towards the purchase of hospitalization with: the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual Hospitalization Plans, as set forth in Contracts 53YK and 57ZK, for all secretarial and clerical employees of the Building Department of the Cfty of North Olmsted. That for the Building Commissioner and for each full time Inspector of the Building Department ,the City of North Ol3msted shall pay the full amount , single persons rate, of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employees of the Building Department, and in the event the Commissioner or Inspectors ,who are full time employees of the Building Department, are married or are the head of the family the City of North Olmsted- shall contribute an additional sum of $350..00 per year towards the cost of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual, both single persons hospitalization and family hospitalization plans shall be established by Contracts 53YK and 57ZK. Section 9. That any other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinances, and especially Ordinance No. 71-58, enacted April 20, 1971, are hereh~ repealed with the effective date of this Qrdinance.
