<br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 72- ~~ PAGE 2 <br />Section 3. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, that all full <br />time employees of the Building Department having completed five (5) years of full <br />time continuous service, as employees of said department, shall be paid an additional <br />3°~ of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (10) years full time <br />continuous service, after which such employee shall receive 4°~ of their base annual <br />salary, thereafter until the completion of the fifteenth (15) year of continuous full <br />time service, and thereafter 5% of their base annual salary until after the completion <br />of the twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service, and during each year of <br />full time service thereafter they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as <br />longevity increments . <br />Section 4. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments <br />of longevity increments hereinahove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time <br />services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity incre- <br />ments, and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of <br />any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service, as employees of <br />the Building Department . <br />Section 5. The secretarlal and clerical help of the Building Department of the <br />City of North Olmsted shall receive , as a longevity increment, the sum of $25.00. <br />This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary or hourly <br />salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, at the rate of $25.00 for each and every <br />year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed by the City of <br />North Olmsted, and said sum shall be paid on each anniversary date of employment. <br />Section 6. That the employees of the Building Department shall not be required <br />to work the following holidays ,unless requested to work by the Building Commissioner <br />in an emergency :New Year's Day :Memorial Day :Independence Day :Labor Day : <br />Thanksgiving Day :Christmas Day :and the employees birthday. <br />Section 7. That all full time employees of the Building Department shall be <br />enti#led to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service . <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service . <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />Section 8. The City of North Olmsted shall contribute a single pi~sons irate <br />towards the purchase of hospitalization with: the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual <br />Hospitalization Plans, as set forth in Contracts 53YK and 57ZK, for all secretarial <br />and clerical employees of the Building Department of the Cfty of North Olmsted. <br />That for the Building Commissioner and for each full time Inspector <br />of the Building Department ,the City of North Ol3msted shall pay the full amount , <br />single persons rate, of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employees of <br />the Building Department, and in the event the Commissioner or Inspectors ,who are <br />full time employees of the Building Department, are married or are the head of the <br />family the City of North Olmsted- shall contribute an additional sum of $350..00 per <br />year towards the cost of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical <br />Mutual, both single persons hospitalization and family hospitalization plans shall <br />be established by Contracts 53YK and 57ZK. <br />Section 9. That any other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances <br />or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinances, <br />and especially Ordinance No. 71-58, enacted April 20, 1971, are hereh~ repealed <br />with the effective date of this Qrdinance. <br />
