<br />BY: i ~~ <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 72- ~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART FOR THE ADMINISTRATION TO BE HEADED <br />BY THE MAYOR, AS PROVIDED FOR IN ARTfCLE III, <br />SECTION I THROUGH 5, INCLUSN£, QF THE <br />CHARTER OF THE CI'1'Y OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND <br />IN ADDITION THERETO, PROVIDING POSITIONS <br />FOR EMPLOYEES OF THIS DEPARTMENT, AND <br />REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 71-56, ENACTED <br />APRIL 20, 1971. <br />WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted in Article III, Section <br />I though 5, inclusive, provided that the administrative functions of the City shall <br />be headed by the Mayor ; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for all employees in <br />the City of North Olmsted for the purpose of identification, as to duties performed <br />and remuneration received ; and <br />WHEREAS, the Administration employs certain personnel and assistants to <br />carry out the responsibilities of the Administration. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />O~xnsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That the Administration of the City of North Olmsted, as provided <br />for. in Article III, Section I through 5, inclusive, of the Charter of the City of North <br />Olmsted is to be headed by the Mayor, and shall consist of the Mayor ; One (1 ) <br />Director of Public Service ;One (1) Administrative Assistant ;One (1) Building <br />Commissioner ; One (1) Police Chief ;One (1) Fire Chief ;One (I) Secretary to <br />the Mayor ; One (1) Secretary to the Director of Public Service ,and other part- <br />time clerical help as determined by the Mayor. <br />Section 2. That retroactive to April 1, 1972, the remuneration of the employees <br />in the Administration of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows : <br />Mayor <br />Director of Public Service <br />Administrative Assistant <br />Secretary to the Mayor <br />Secretary to the Director <br />of Public Service <br />Clerical and Secretarial Help <br />$17, 000.00 <br />$12,840.00 to $18,146.00 Annually <br />$ 9, 630.00 to $12, 417.00 Annually <br />$ 5, 350.00 to $ 7, 338.00 Annually <br />$ 5, 350.00 to $ 7, 338.00 Annually <br />$ 1.45 to $ 2.83 Per Hour <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. <br />Section 3. The secretarial and clerical help of the Administration Department <br />of the City of North Olm fed shall receive, as a longe~zity increment, the sum of $25.00. <br />This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary or hourly <br />~i~llary paid to said secretary or clerical help, at the rate of $25.00 for each and every <br />year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed by the Cfty of <br />North Olmsted, and said sum shall be paid on each anniversary date of employment. <br />Section 4. TheCity of North Olmsted shall contribute a single persons rate <br />towards the purchase of hospitalization with the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual <br />Hospitalization Plans, as set forth in Contract 53YK and 57ZK, for all secretarial <br />and clerical employees of the Administration Department of the City of North Olmsted. <br />
