~' j , ~,.,. „. ~' CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 71- St~ r: AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART OF THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT, SETTING FORTH THE COMPLEMENT OF THE EUILDING DEPARTMENT AND ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE EMPLOYEES OF THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT, AND RE- PEALING ORDINANCE NO. 70-54, ENACTED MARCH 3 , 19 70 , AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY . WHEREAS, Council has established the Organizational Chart for the Building Department into a separate ordinance setting forth the personnel needed ; and WHEREAS, Council wishes to set forth the compensation to be paid to the employees of the Building Department ;and WHEREAS, the establishing of an Organizational Chart together with the salaries to be paid will assist the Finance Director in paying the remuneration established to the employees of the Building Department. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio : Section 1. That the complement of the Building 'Department is hereby established and set forth as follows : Building Commissioner Building Inspectors (2 ) Sewer Inspector Electrical Inspector (part-time ) Heating and Ventilating Inspector (part-time ) Half-Time Plumbing Inspector (Min. 20 hours per week ) Architectural Consultant (contract ) Secretary to Building Commissioner Clerk Part-time Clerk (as needed ) Inspector Part-time Help (as needed Section 2. That retroactive to April I, 1971, the remuneration to be paid to the employees of the Building Department shall be as follows Building Commissioner Building Inspectors Sewer Inspector Electrical Inspector (part-time ) Heat. & Vent. Inspector (part-time ) Half-time Plumbing Inspector Architectural Consultant Secretary to Building Commissioner Clerk Part-tia~!e Clerk (as needed ) Inspection Part-time Help (as needed) $10 , 000.00 to $12 , 840.00 Annually $ 7, 000.00 to $ 9, 630.00 Annually $ 7,000.00 to $ 9,630.00 Annually $ 3 , 000.00 to $ 5 , 000.00 Annually $ 3, 000.00 to $ 5, 000.00 Annually $ 5,000.00 to $ 6,700.00 Annually $ up to $ 5 , 000 .00 Annually $ 4, 300.00 to $ 6, 206.00 Anneally $ 4, 000.00 to $ 5,136.00 Annually ~Tp to $I, 000.00 - $2.15 per hour Up to $2, 000.00 - $1.60 to $4.00 per which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Findnrae semi-monthly.
