.' <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO, 71- .S"~ PAGE 2 <br />Section 3. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, that all <br />full dime employees of the Building Department having completed five (5) years of <br />full time continuous service, as employees of said department, shall be paid an <br />additional 3% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (10 ) <br />years of full time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive 4% <br />of their base annual salary, thereafter until the completion of the fifteenth (15 ) <br />year of continuous full time service, and thereafter 5% of their base annual salary <br />until after the completion of the twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service, <br />and during each year of full time service thereafter they shall receive 6% of their <br />base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />Section 4. In computing length of service for the purose of making payments <br />of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time <br />services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity increments, <br />and the exclusion for part-time servi~€ shall not deprive any employee of any other <br />benefits which may be due them for part-time service, as employees of the Building <br />Department. <br />Section 5. The secretarial and clerical help of the Building Department <br />of the City of North Olmsted shall receive, as a longevity increment, the sum of <br />$25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual <br />salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, and shall be at the <br />rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical hip has been <br />continually employed by the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 6. That the employees of the Building Department shall not be <br />required to work the following holidays, unless requested to work by the Building <br />Commissioner in an emergency :New Year's Day ;Memorial Day ; Ind:ndence <br />Day ;Labor Day ; Thsriksgiving Day ; Christmas Day ;the employee`s birthday, <br />ffiection 7. That all full time employees of the Building Department shall <br />be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service. <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service . <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />Section 8. The Gity of North Olmsted shall contribute a single persons <br />rate towards the purchase of hospitalisation with the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual <br />Hospitalization Plans, as set forth in Contracts S~.YK and 57 ZK, for all secretarial <br />and clerical employees of the Building Department of the City of North Olmsted. <br />That for the Building Commissioner, each full time Inspector <br />of the Building Department, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount , <br />single persons t+ate, of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employees <br />of the Building Department, and in the event any full time employee of the Building <br />Department is married or is the head of the family the City of North Olmsted shall <br />contribute an additional sum of $200.00 per year towards the cost of a family <br />hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual ,both single persons <br />hospitalization and family hospitalization plans shall be established by Contracts <br />5'3YK and 57ZK. <br />Section 9 . That any other ordinances or resolutions , or parts of ordinances <br />or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, <br />and a speaii.ally Ordinance No . 70-5 ~+, enacted March 3 , 19 70 , are hereby repealed <br />with the effective date of this Ordinance . <br />
