<br /> <br />CITY OFNORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 71"..f~I PAGE 2 <br />Section 3. The secretarial and clerical help of the Engineering Department <br />of the City of North Olmsted shall receive as a longevity increment, the sum of <br />$25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual or <br />hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, and shall be at the rate of <br />$25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been con- <br />tinually employed by the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 4. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, that all <br />full time employees of the Engineering Department having completed five (5) years <br />of full time continuous service, as employees of said department, shall be paid an <br />additional 3% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (10 ) <br />years of full time continuous service , after which such employee shall receive <br />4% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15 ) <br />year of continuous full time service, after which said employee shall receive 5% <br />of their base annual salary until completion of their twentieth (20) year of con- <br />tinuous full time service, and thereafter each year of full time service thereafter <br />they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />Section 5. That all full time employees of the Engineering Department <br />shall receive the following holidays off, unless requested to work by the Mayor <br />in emergencies ;New Year's Day ;Memorial Day ; Independent~e- Day ; Labor Day ; <br />ThankG ~y~ Christmas Day, the employee's birthdapy, <br />Section 6. That all full time employees of the Engineering Department <br />shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule <br />Tbvo `(2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service. <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service . <br />Section 7. The City of North Olmsted shall contribute a single persons <br />rate towards the purchase of hospitalization with the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual. <br />Hospitalization Plans, as set forth in Contracts 53YK and 57ZK, for all. secretarial <br />and clerical employees of the Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted. <br />The City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount , single <br />persons rate, of the hospitalization cost for unmarrried full time employees of the <br />Engineering Department, and in the event any full time employee of the .Engineering <br />Department is married or is the head of the family the City of North Olmsted shall <br />contribute an additional sum of $200.00 per year towards the cost of a family <br />hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual ,both single persons <br />hospitalization and family hospitalization plans shall be e~ablished by Contracts <br />5 ~YK and 5 7 ZK. <br />Section 8. That the Clerk of Council is hereby dieted to forward a copy <br />of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance in order that the Director of Finance can <br />pay the compensation as hereinabove set forth. <br />Section 9. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances <br />or parts of resolutions ,inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinances, <br />and especially Ordinance No. 70 - 52 , enacted March 3, 1970 , are hereby repealed <br />with the effective date of this Ordinance . <br /> <br />
