_ y \Yr CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 7I- .S"~ ar:~~~ AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN ORGANIZATIONAL CHART FOR THE ADMINISTRATION TO BE HEADED BY THE MAYOR, AS PROVIDED FOR IN ARTICLE III, SECTION I THROUGH 5, INCLUSIVE, OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND TN ADDITION THERETO, PROVIDING POSITIONS FOR EMPLOYEES OF THIS DEPARTMENT, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 70-53, ENACTED MARCH 3, 1970,. AND DECLARI NG AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS; the Charter of the City of North Olmsted in Article III, Section T through 5 , inclusive, provided that the administrative functions of the City shall be headed by the Mayor ; and WHEREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for all employees in the City of North Olmsted for the purpose of identification, as to duties performed and remuneration received ;and WHEREAS, the Administration employs certain personnel and assistants to carry out the responsibilities of the Administration. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council o f the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio Section 1. That the Administration of the City of North Olmsted, as provided for in Article III, Section T through 5, inclusive, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted is to be headed by the Mayor, and shall consist of the Mayor ; One (I ) Director of Public Service ;One (1 j Administrative Assistant ;One { 1) Building Commissioner ; One (1) Police Chief ;One (1) Fire Chief ;One (1) Secretary to the Mayor ; One (1) Secretary to the Director of Public Service, and other part- time clerical help as determined by the Mayor. Section 2. That retroactive to April I, 1971, the remuneration of the employees in the Administration of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows Mayor Director of Public Service Administrative Assistant Secretary to the Mayor Secretary to the Director of Public Service Clerical and Secretarial help $I7, 000.00 $12, 840.00 to $17, 200.00 Annually $ 9 , 630.00 to $11, 770.00 Annually $ 5, 350.00 to $ 6, 955.00 Annually $ 5 , 350.00 to $ 6, 955.00 Annually $ 1. 45 to $ ~~6& Pier Hour which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance semi-monthly. Section 3. The secretarial and clerical help of the Administration De- partment of the City of North Olmsted shall receive as a longevity increment, the sum of $25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over and shove any annual salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help and shall be at the rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed by the City of North O3msted.
